Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (ages 5-15)

HEALTHY HABITS: Jiu Jitsu provides a FUN and challenging activity to reduce stress while gaining exercise, increasing body awareness and coordination. Students also learn valuable lessons in humility, dealing with failure, goal setting and commitment.

SELF-DEFENSE: Jiu Jitsu is a grappling martial art which utilizes leverage, technique, and strategy to overcome opponents which are often bigger and stronger. Learning martial arts builds confidence, which in turn discourages bullies. Not only will your child learn REAL skills they can use to defend themselves, but they are also less likely to be singled-out because of their new-found confidence.

DISCIPLINE & FOCUS: In the age of technology and distractions, learning jiu jitsu engages students in the learning process as they listen, follow detailed directions, and put them into practice. This translates to increased focus and discipline in school, chores and other areas of life.

LEADERSHIP & COMMUNITY: Students will socialize with new friends. As they progress, they will become mentors and leaders among their peers. They become part of a community by learning to give back.

Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (16 and up)

EXERCISE: Get away from the desk. Move your body. Improve your health and fitness. Learn a new skill.

REDUCE STRESS: Decompress. Forget the stressors of the day.

SELF-DEFENSE: Gain skills to defend yourself and your family if need be.

COMMUNITY: Surround yourself with good people.

I have watched my daughters personal confidence and athletic ability grow well beyond their ages of 6 and 8. Both my daughters and myself have been blessed by this family atmosphere over the past few years!
